Almost didn't attend this year's Dot-to-dot festival. If you had read my previous Dot-to-dot experience you would have read that I had already purchased my ticket - early bird me! Well, since I bought the ticket I moved houses. And yes, I had ordered the ticket using my previous address. Once I had moved I updated my address on the website I purchased the ticket but apparently the ticket is sent to the address declared upon purchase! Thankfully, it struck me and I contacted the organisers who were very helpful and I was able to get my wristband despite not having my physical ticket.
Every year dot-to-dot takes over the city of Nottingham. Seventeen venues hosted gigs from 1pm til as late as 3am! Great energy, amazing artists and an overall excellent event. It seems to draw more and more people every year. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to explore all gigs. I was in the city for a very short while so this review will be rather short. I only attended a few gigs that were held in Rock City and Rock City Basement, and to be honest, for some reason I always attended the last few minutes. I spent most of the time in the venue during breaks!
Quite a shame because this year the festival had a great line up!
