Pixx was supporting Daughter but she deserves a gig review of her own. I hadn't seen Daughter before so once Pixx set foot on the stage I wasn't sure if it was Daughter or not! She has very catchy songs. I don't remember not liking any of the songs she performed! She has a very intriguing voice and a 90's sense of style. She really reminded me of Dolores O'Riordan and the Cranberries. Maybe it is because I grew up with Cranberries that hit a cord of nostalgia. Who knows. |

Apart from her songs, I was also impressed by how versatile her voice is and how skillful she is as a musician. In terms of engaging with the audience, the crowd really seemed to like her. They were very warm and seemed to enjoy the songs.
Hopefully we will see more of her in the future. I will certainly have my radar on to see her again. I will be delighted if I find out she is headlining on a tour.
