September is half way into autumn and the Gig Wishlist will keep on growing as the days/weeks/months go by! As I started preparing this list I noticed some of the bands are no longer active: either on hiatus or have broken up. So I have left those off my gig wishlist and will be preparing a different list: My Dream gig list! So stay tuned for that! For the time being and with no further ado here are the next 10 entries for my Gig Wishlist (in no particular order): 1. The Kooks 2. Metric 3. BOY 4. Kodaline 5. First Aid Kit 6. Regina Spektor 7. Alex Turner/Arctic Monkeys 8. Birdy 9. Iron and Wine 10. Nouela

September always seems to be the beginning of everything - school year, TV programmes, diet regimen and gig planning for the autumn/winter season. Tonight I booked the gigs I will be enjoying during the next three months. I found that I was slow in some occasions! For instance, I wanted to book 'The Sherlocks' but they are sold out. Same with The Hunna. But I did book some good tickets. I am pleased. Stay tuned as I will reveal each gig after I have enjoyed them. This however made me think of which gigs I would want to see in Nottingham that are not set to tour in our area (if at all) or I have missed them when they did. So here is my Wishlist. As the months go by I will include more bands/artists and cross out (fingers crossed) those that the universe hears my gig-plea and actually do include Notts in their tour. Here are the first 10 in my wishlist (they are in a random order): 1. Alvvays 2. King Charles 3. Soko 4. Beirut 5. Wolf Larsen 6. Fleet Foxes 7. Low Roar 8. Devendra Banhart 9. Belle and Sebastian 10. Lucia |
